As an exam for Art & Design I was commissioned to make an award for the Eurovision song contest. So I started with a Moodboard of awards and did some research about the contest. I noticed that they used a lot of blue so incorporated it in the award. The triangles represents the start of something
Tea Box
I had to make a tea box that didn't exist yet. So I choose for a Rainbow themed box for my target group the LBGT+ community. Every colour has ist's own taste. The pattern is inspired from Japanese art. I just liked the rainbow effect that it gave to it.
AMC (SOS BPD)
Logo
I got an assignment with a classmate from AMC to make a logo for their new research about baby's who don't get enough oxygen through their lung because of the growth. The logo exists out of a lung, a robin bird and a lotus. The lung is about the research, the bird is about how fragile the baby is and the lotus is about growth. We choose the colour blue because that gives a more serious vibe, since it's for a hospital.
TV cabinet
Furniture
I made a tv cabinet for myself for in my room. I needed a new tv cabinet, so I made one at school with their materials. The process took long but the result is amazing. There are some mistakes that happend while building it. Like for example I broke 3 drill bits and choose to eventually not build the borders for the front of the cabinet. In the end I am very happy with it.
Heineken
Infographic video
I had to make a infographic animation about a Dutch company. So I decided to choose to do it about Heineken. It took me 6 weeks to make. First I made the text and then the storyboard. The result is this video. Even the voiceover is my voice. (It's in Dutch)
Screenprinted shirt
As Intern at AGA LAB I got access to the screenprint department. I created a design for my brother since he loves demonic things. It's a fox head with a chemical log, a biohazard mask and a metal (music) logo of my brothers name.
Gorilla painting
This painting was something I made without sketching first. It was more for me to enjoy and relax. The painting is about a gorilla that's thinking about something deep. When a gorilla stays in the light you see different kinds of colour in the fur, so I used those colours and over exaggerated the colours to make it more purple and blue. The effect made it stand out in the painting.
Tiger sketchbook painting
This is a painting that I made is a study about tiger, I was always fascinated in big cats, especially tigers. The strips and orange colours makes it pop out of nature. Tigers can be very revengeful, but also very caring. I think that these cats resemble a lot what we humans do.
Buddha painting
This is a painting that I sold to a costumer. She wanted a Buddha in a thinking position, but in a different way then she sits normally. She also wanted the Chakra colours in the painting. So I made the Buddha like she asked me to, and incorporated the colours in lotus flowers around the border of the painting. The headpiece is made with some puffed paint to make it more 3D and stand out. She loved the painting.
